Do you have a car park?

Yes we do have an onsite car park.  However the number of spaces is limited and the car park entrance is fairly tight so parking large vehicles or vans can be tricky.  All spaces need to be reserved in advance and they cost £15 per overnight stay.  Unless you book in advance then we cannot guarantee that a space will be available.

If the car park is full then there are 2 public car parks just a couple of minutes walk away.  Click on the links below for more details.  Payment can be made for these car parks by cash, card or the Ringo App.

You can also charge your electric car for FREE when you book and pay for an overnight car park space.  Please let us know in advance if you wish to use the EV charging point.

Is breakfast included in the room rate?

Yes, a delicious breakfast is included for all guests.  Choose from a selection of dishes including smashed avocado on a toasted muffin with poached eggs and chilli oil or freshly made porridge.

Of course the tradition full English is always available and includes a vegetarian option too.

We can provide vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options on request and it would be great if you could let us know in advance.

Are you dog friendly?

We love dogs here at The Christopher Hotel and have some specifically designated dog friendly room.  It costs £20 for the duration of your stay to bring your furry friend and this must be booked in advance.

However dogs cannot be left alone in the bedroom if you are not on the premises.

Do you have a lift?

We do not have a lift in the hotel.  However most of our delightful courtyard rooms are all on the ground floor and you can park your car right opposite.

How far is it to walk to Windsor Castle?

Windsor Castle and town centre are less than 10 minutes walk away from the The Christopher Hotel.  If you would like to visit the Castle then you must purchase entry tickets in advance as you need to book a specific time and the Castle is often sold out in advance.

What time can I check in and can I check in late at night?

Check-in is from 3pm on the day of arrival.  Should you need to guarantee an early check-in then it is advisable to book a room from the night before.

If you advise us that you require an early check-in we will do our very best to get you into your room as soon as possible but it cannot be guaranteed to be before 3pm.

Our reception is manned 24 hours a day so you do not need to worry if you need to check in late at night or checkout very early in the morning.

Do you have space for meetings and events?

We do not have meeting rooms at The Christopher Hotel but our sister hotel – The Royal Adelaide – has a lovely Palm Court Lounge with natural light and air conditioning for meetings or events.

Do you have a bar and restaurant?

We have a lovely bar at the hotel where you can sit and enjoy a glass of wine or local beer.

We serve breakfast daily in our restaurant but do not currently serve lunch or evening meals.  However there are number of restaurants within a very short walk of the hotel.  See below for some of recommendations.

How do I cancel an existing booking and what is your cancellation policy?

If you have booked through a third party website such as booking.com or hotels.com then you must cancel your reservation by going on to their website as we are not allowed to cancel for you.

If you have booked direct with us by phone, email or via our website then please feel free to contact us by phone or email.  We do require written confirmation by email for all direct cancellations.

Cancellation Policy

For flexible rates cancellations must be made by 3pm on the day PRIOR to your arrival or the first night of your stay will be charged.

Non-refundable rates cannot be cancelled or refunded once the booking has been made.

Bookings for key events such as Royal Ascot and The Windsor Horse Show have their own cancellation policy which is usually one month in advance of your arrival date.

Bookings of 3 rooms or more are considered to be a group and must cancelled at least 5 days prior to arrival.

Can I book directly with the hotel and not use an agent such as booking.com?

Yes of course, we would be delighted to take your reservation directly.  Simply call us on 01753 852359 to discuss your requirements.  A credit card is required to secure your reservation but the card is only charged if you are taking advantage of our cheaper advance purchase rates or you do not show up on the day of your reservation without cancelling in advance.

Does the hotel have air conditioning?

Whilst the hotel does not have air conditioning, each room in the main house has a ceiling fan and every room in the hotel is provided with an excellent (and quiet) desk fan.

Do you have twin rooms?

Yes, many of our premium rooms and junior suites are available as twins.  Please put this request on your booking and we can make sure you get a twin room.
