The Eton College Natural History Museum opened in 1875 and features 16,000 objects full of rich history. The museum provides a family-friendly environment to discover the natural world, explore and learn it’s history, and has opportunities for hands-on learning activities.

Visit and view the large collections of stuffed mammals, birds, butterflies, moths and fossils. Discover the wildlife of the Thames Valley and explore a replica of the botanist Sir Joseph Banks’s cabin on Captain Cook’s Endeavour voyage. Learn about Charles Darwin and investigate ethnographic exhibits from indigenous tribal communities in Borneo and the Amazon.
